Aryballos-lekythos

Ceramic clay. Red-figure aryballos-shaped squat lekythos with a narrow neck, widening conical lip, and strap handle. The body sits on a torus-shaped foot. The front is filled with the motif of a panther lying in left profile with a raised head, slightly raised right leg, and tail curved into an S-shape. The broad pedestal on which the panther is lying is decorated with “cora presso” decoration. Sketch-like painting.
